"A" type tower

The "A" tower is a four legged tower, made of angular members in square base pattern, optimized for medium to heavy loads, generally suitable for primary cellular sites, MW backbone sites, or central communication hubs.

The A tower is designed for heights of 20 to 120m, and can be easily shipped in a standard 20' ISO container.

The A tower modular design allows last minute modification - modules can easily be interchanged according to the specific site design.

Each tower can be supplied with a variety of accessories, such as platforms, antenna mounts, safety devices, obstruction lights, lightning protection kit etc, which can be installed at any desired height and orientation.

Optimal Height 

20 to 120m.

Material

• Angular leg members ST 52-3
• Angular bracing members and plates ST37-2

Connections

• Bolts are ISO 8.8, SAE Grade 5, or ASTM A-325, supplied with two washers, nut and spring washer.
• A 5% hardware overage is included.

Galvanizing

All steel members are hot-dip galvanized in accordance with ASTM A123.

Anchoring

Anchor rods (ASTM F1554) with leveling nuts or cast-in stubs can be supplied with a positioning template.

Ladders

The towers can be supplied with a caged or open ladder with safety climbing line. The ladder is usually installed in the inner side of the tower, but can be attached to any face of the tower. Vertical cable hangers are located next to the climbing ladder or on any of the tower faces.

Shipment
