MONOPOLES- Multi-Sided and Tapered

MER produces superior tapered 18-sided flanged and 'slip joint' monopoles up to 60m. tall, with a full complement of accessories.

Designed to carry a wide range of antennas with cables routed inside the structure, MER monopoles provide increased protection as well as an aesthetic appearance. MER Monopoles can be adjusted to any specified wind and ice loadings.

Internationally deployed, MER monopoles are designed in accordance with EIA RS-222-F or BS8100 standards.

MER supplies customers the choice of Flange Connected (FLN) and Slip-Joint Connected (SJN) monopoles. Both give customers superior technologies and shorter construction time that give lower overall site costs.

Where regular towers take 2-3 days or more to build, MER monopoles of most heights can usually be erected in a single day. This is achieved by making connections 'error proof' and saving as much bolt-tightening time as possible.

MER's minimum space-consuming monopoles are the perfect answer to the limitations of the urban environment where height is needed but a larger base area is either not available or is overly expensive.

Camouflaged Poles
Special sites often require tailor-made solutions. To meet customer's requirements, MER can design special-purpose monopoles disguised as palm or pine tree, or modify existing monopoles without drastically affecting schedules.
