SJN type Monopole

The "SJN" is an18-sided monopole in heights up to 40m, made of 7.5m tapered hollow steel sections, connected in "Slip Joint" method.

The SJN series is designed for light to medium loads, generally suitable for standard single operator cellular sites.

The SJN monopole is designed for heights of 15 to 40m, and it can be easily shipped in an OT 40' ISO container.

Each monopole is equipped with a variety of accessories, such as platforms, antenna mounts, safety devices, obstruction lights, lightning protection kit etc, which can be installed at any desired height and orientation.

15 to 40m.

Design Standards

TIA/EIA 222-F, AISC manual, AASHTO 2001, CP3, BS8100

Material

• Pole shafts are fabricated from high-strength steel ST52-3
• Plates and flanges are fabricated from ST37-2 steel.

Connections

The Slip joints are designed with overlap of 1.5 times the pole diameter at the splice, no bolting is required.

Galvanizing

All steel members are hot-dip galvanized in accordance with ASTM A123.

Anchoring

Anchor rods (ASTM F1554) with leveling nuts are supplied with a positioning template.

Ladder

The monopoles are supplied with an external ladder or step bolts, Horizontal cable hangers are located inside the hollow section.
